FEES

Fees are set at $30.000 per half hour.

Fees must be paid by the term.

Students are invoiced during the last lesson of term for the following term.

Payment must be made by the second week of term.

If your regular weekly lesson falls on a Public Holiday you will not be charged for a lesson on that day, as the studio is closed for school holidays and public holidays.

Please remember, though, that lessons WILL still be held on Student-free days.

New students beginning during the school term will only be charged for the weeks remaining in the term.

Students sitting AMEB examinations will need to pay extra Exam fees - these fees are collected by me but go directly to the AMEB, and must be paid by the date specified or else the student will be ineligible to sit their exam. (see Exams page)

I do not charge fees for students doing my in-studio Half-Yearly and Yearly Exams as these occur during regular lesson times.

Fee Help

If you are unable to pay the fees for the full term please contact me.  We may be able to find a solution that works for you, such as paying by the month instead of a whole Term at a time.

How to Pay Fees

You may pay your child's music lesson fees either by cash or direct deposit.

If paying by cash please try to have the correct amount as I do not carry much change.

If paying by Direct Deposit, your invoice will have the details you need. When using Direct Deposit/Internet banking, please use your Child's full name as reference.

You will be issued with a receipt as soon as payment is received.

Keep in mind that with Direct Deposit it may take up to 4 days before your payment shows up in my bank statement. Once I can see the payment I will issue your receipt.

Catch-Up Lessons

I understand that families sometimes take holidays during the school term, school camps or school excursions can occur on your regular weekly lesson day, and people do become ill.  If you are unable to attend a lesson due to ill health please notify me at least 24 hours in advance.  If you have a family holiday planned, or some other event coming up, please give me as much notice as possible so I can reschedule the lesson for another day.

If I do not receive 24 hours notice of absence you will forfeit your fees for that lesson.

If you have missed a lesson due to illness or another reason, and have notified me 24hours in advance, I will organise a Catch-up Lesson.  These may take place on a different day to your usual lesson, although I will do my best to fit in with your schedule.

Catch-Up lessons must be taken before the end of the term.

I will endeavor to give you at least two options for a Catch-Up lesson.
